Neolithic leaf-shaped arrowhead
Description
English: Neolithic arrowhead; worked flint leaf-shaped arrowhead dating to the earlier Neolithic period, around 3,500-2,500 BC. The arrowhead is worked from translucent, grey-brown flint. It is a narrow point which widens to very angular side points before tapering again towards the butt end. It is roughly lozenge-shaped overall. The arrowhead is minutely worked on both faces with signs of multiple strikings and secondary working. Length 30.0mm, width 17.3mm, thickness 2.8mm, weight 1.22g
