Description
English: A complete leaf-shaped flint arrowhead of Neolithic date (3500 BC – 2100 BC). Length 35.7mm, width 20.7mm and maximum thickness 3.8mm. Weight 2.61g.

This arrowhead can be classified as a Green type 2B (Green 1984, 19-39). In plan, the arrowhead is pointed at one end and rounded at the opposite end. The sides are convex in plan. On each face it has been retouched by means of pressure flaking. However, the centre of each face not been retouched but is flat and has barely visible ripples. In side view it is slightly thicker at the pointed end.

This arrowhead is in good condition and has a mid-grey patina overall. There is no sign of gloss.
