| Description |
English: Neolithic Horse in Kings cave. There are several ancient cave drawings in this cave, this is the earliest showing a horse or deer along with 1158947. Others in the cave include the earliest writing in Scotland.
The cave was originally carved out by the sea but due to rising land levels it is now a few metres above sea level. When this was carved it would have been a lot closer to the sea. |
