| Description |
English: The St Lythans burial chamber is a single stone megalithic dolmen. It was built during the mid-Neolithic period, around 4,000 BCE, pre-dating Stonehenge. The structure is placed atop a wide earthen mound as part of a chambered long barrow in what is now known as the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. The lintel (capstone) measures 13 feet (4 m) long, 10 feet (3 m) wide, and 2 feet (0.7 m) thick.
