Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Nekoosa Paper locomotive No. 21 is shown sitting at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum in North Freedom, Wisconsin. It was originally built in 1966 for the Southern Pacific Railroad as No. 2409, but in 1979, it was sold to the Nekoosa Paper Company of Nekoosa, Wisconsin. It was eventually donated to the Mid-Continent Railway Museum, in 1992, but it was swiftly deemed too heavy for their rails, so it was then donated to the Burlington Junction Railway in Iowa. The locomotive has been operating there ever since.
