Description
English: Neart nan Gleann. Power from the glen, the slogan on this notice board below the Sloy Dam. Opened in 1950, a pioneering hydro scheme, first to be completed by the North of Scotland Hydro Electric Board. This , the eastern side of the dam is in the square which is largely taken up by steep rocky slopes of Dunbartonshire's Ben Vorlich (945m)
