| Description |
English: Near the Foot of the South Downs Viewed from the footpath that links Clapper Lane to Poynings. The land slopes down towards a small stream, one of the many that rise along the spring line next to the northern escarpment of the South Downs. The houses in the distance are Wickhurst, to the left, and Wickhurst Barns to the right, both of which are on the small lane that runs along the foot of the northern escarpment linking all the spring line villages. Above them is the summit of Devil's Dyke. |
