Description
Deutsch: Der natürliche Eiskeller beim Habicher See ist eine aus unterirdischen Gangsystemen von kalter Luft durchströmte Felsspalte ("Eisloch"), in der konstant Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt herrschen. Unterstützt wird dieses Phänomen noch durch eine schattenspendende Linde vor dem Eiskeller. Geschnittene Eisblöcke konnten bis in den Sommer gelagert werden, die Bevölkerung hatte hier schon Jahrhunderte vor Erfindung des Kühlschranks die Möglichkeit, ihre Lebensmittel gekühlt zu lagern. 2009/2010 wurde die Anlage saniert.
