Die ursprünglich als „Kriegereiche“ zum Naturdenkmal erklärte „Friedenseiche“ steht am östlichen Ortsausgang von Kammerbach, dicht an Straße nach Bad Sooden-Allendorf. Der nur noch als Torso vorhandene Baum trägt die Jahreszahl 1815. Nach einer anderen Version wurde er 1871 oder 1872 von Mitgliedern des neu gegründeten Kriegervereins nach dem Deutsch-Französischen Krieg gepflanzt.

In der Liste der Naturdenkmale des Werra-Meißner-Kreises hat die Friedenseiche die Nummer ND636.038.

Kammerbach ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Bad Sooden-Allendorf im nordhessischen Werra-Meißner-Kreis.
