Description
Deutsch: Mächtige Linde am Kalvarienberg in Ahaus. Mit einem Stammumfang von mehr als 7 Metern und einer Höhe von über 20 Metern gehört dieser Baum zu den mächtigsten Bäumen im Kreis Borken. Dieser Baum ist ein Naturdenkmal und ist Bestandteil einer Radtour zu alten markanten „Baumpersönlichkeiten“. Der Baum, der unter einem besonderen Schutz steht, musste erst kürzlich aus Sicherheitsgründen umfangreich beschnitten werden. Zum Großteil besteht der Baum nur noch aus Rinde. Der barocke Bildstock musste 1776 auf Anordnung des Bischofs von Münster errichtet werden.
