Natsume Sōseki's lodgings in The Chase, Clapham, London. This house was his fourth and final abode in London. The English Heritage blue plaque bears his name and reads:
"SOSEKI, Natsume (1867-1916)
Japanese Novelist lived here 1901-1902"
Address: 81 The Chase, Clapham, SW4
The Sōseki Museum (tel: 0171-720-8718) is opposite the house. It is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sunday afternoons (February-September).
