English: National Trust work on Buckstones Moss, Marsden This is probably to stop the erosion of peat by blocking the gullies that hasten runoff. Pule Hill is in the distance, and together with Buckstones House in the middle distance fix the photographer position, as the fence in the photo is not shown on the OS map. |
