Summary

[edit]
Description
English: National Trust sign, Half Moon Common Half Moon Common was purchased from the Paulton's Estate by the National Trust at auction. It is now part of the Bramshaw Commons and heavily grazed by commoners' cattle and ponies (plus a few pigs and donkeys, and occasionally sheep). The "Keeping your dogs under close control" instruction is for the benefit of the commoners' stock. This sign stands in the car park on Blackhill Road, at the start of the track to Foxbury Inclosure.
