Summary
[edit]DescriptionNational Tramway Museum, Crich - geograph.org.uk - 482013.jpg |
English: National Tramway Museum at Crich, Derbyshire, England. This view is from 1977 and show the area that is now the Stephenson Place tram stop. The siding to the left has long been lifted, and this area is now part of the museum's reconstructed period street, with a setted road surface and appropriate buildings.
The museum now operates under the marketing name of Crich Tramway Village. There is a large collection of trams here from many towns in Britain and beyond. The two green trams seen here both came from Blackpool. There is a most informative display section as well. Highly recommended attraction. |
