Description The sultan died in 1895, and between anytime 1868-1885 during his days as the Maharaja of Johor. Johor(e) was an Unfederated Malay State in the British Empire at that time. Also, due to age, hence it is in the public domain. This photograph was taken by User:Gryffindor from a photograph found at the National Museum in Kuala Lumpur.
