Description
Ελληνικά: Εθνική Βιβλιοθήκη. Στις 16 Μαρτίου 1888 τέθηκε η θεμέλια λίθος για ένα νέο μαρμάρινο νεοκλασικό κτήριο.

Το κτήριο αυτό χρηματοδοτήθηκε από τρία αδέλφια με καταγωγή από την Κεφαλονιά αλλά διαμένοντες στη Διασπορά, τους Παναγή, Μαρίνο και Ανδρέα Βαλλιάνο και είναι γνωστό ως "Βαλλιάνειο".

Η Εθνική Βιβλιοθήκη της Ελλάδος μέχρι το 2017 στεγαζόταν στο Βαλλιάνειο κτίριο στο κέντρο της Αθήνας.
