English: Dr. Felipe Gonzalez, the medical director of the emergency medical technology program for Central Texas College-Europe, presents a certificate to U.S. Army Pfc. David Outland, Jr., a North Carolina National Guard Soldier from the 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 252nd Armor Regiment, marking his completion of an emergency medical technician course, Feb. 6, 2016, at Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo. The four-month EMT course, held during the Army National Guard Soldiers’ off-time while serving on NATO’s peace support mission in Kosovo, delivered additional military skills while also bolstering the troops’ employment qualifications for their civilian careers.
