Description

Description: Famous as a child prodigy, Nathalia Clara Ruth Crane (1913-1998) published her first book at age ten and later became a professor of literature. This photograph was used to illustrate a news story about "The four ages of behavior," declaring that Crane, "who writes poetry and gets it published" represents "the creative age--most of us rise to it once in a while, but few live on the heights regularly."
