In 1888, the Mexican Interoceanic Railway took charge of a 25 mile long branch line that connected Puebla with the town of Izucar de Matamoros, before steam, the line was horse-drawn, two engines exactly alike from the Nasmyth Wilson (cn 352-353) were delivered to run this line, each had a cost of £1515.00. These two engines didn't carried the numbers they left from the factory (25 and 26), and were renumbered as 102 and 103 respectively.

By 1901 both were shown as retired, however one of these ended up it's days sold second handed to the Flowermill Factory of Guadalupe, owned my Marcelino García Presno, located in thw town of Santa Rita Tlahuapan, in the city of Puebla as well.
