Het is teven de wagen waarin de verslaggever van Het Leven, Arthur Tervooren, met een veertigtal revolutionairen van Essen over Mulheim naar Duisburg reed, "(...) welke plaats toen niet ver van het gevechtsterrein verwijderd was", aldus het originele bijschrift.
