English: Narrow dyke off Broad Fen Lane The fields in the Lincolnshire fens are drained by an extensive system of dykes and ditches. This one feeds into Shire Dyke which in turn flows into the River Witham further east. This area of farmland is only just in Lincolnshire. The border with Nottinghamshire is a few hundred metres behind the view point. |
