Description
English: Famous zamindar of Narail (now in Bangladesh) Pulin Behari Ray established Narail house in Cossipore area, Calcutta for the purpose of zamindars work. Earlier, Narail House covered a huge portion of the area and there was three houses, in the addresses of 27,28 and 30, Ratan Babu Road. Among those houses, the house number was 28 was he oldest one and presently there is no trace of the house. Other buildings are there but in a dilapidated condition.
