Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Constructed during the First World War the Naracoopa jetty, on King island east coast, was completed in 1916. The first vessel to dock there was the steamer SS Marawah on 14 April, which brought a number of passengers to the island. Although the jetty served many purposes in its heyday, it is now primarily used for the leisurely pursuit of fishermen. It is now listed on the Tasmanian Heritage Register.
