| Description |
English: Nant y Garw mine shaft Nant y Garw mine had a single shaft, located inside the fenced area here, just below the dumps from the mill. The pit for the pump-rods balance bob, a timber shaft collar and the stone shaft-lining can all be seen from the safe side of the fence, as can the top end of a length of pump rod which still stands in the water filling the shaft. |
