Summary[edit]
DescriptionNanoart Africa.jpg |
Автори роботи Яна Сичікова (синтез наноструктур) та Сергій Ковачов (кольоровий дизайн).English: Nanoart "Africa" A micrograph of a nanostructured silicon image obtained using an SEO-SEM Inspect S50-B scanning microscope. 350x magnification. The crystallite synthesized on the surface of monocrystalline silicon precisely replicates the outline of the African continent, and the small specks around the structure resemble an archipelago of islands. The crystallite is a complex compound consisting of silicon, sulfur and oxygen. Such structures are remarkable for two phases with different electrical conductivity, thus opening up new application prospects, namely in modern electronics and photonics devices. This perfect structure geometry indicates the crystalline structure of the formed compound. Image width: 600 µm. The image was colorized using Adobe Photoshop without any further manipulations with the SEM image. The work was created within the framework of the Grant of the President of Ukraine for the implementation of Serhii Kovachov's "Nanoart Artbook" creative project. Creators of the work: Yana Sychikova (nanostructures synthesis) and Serhii Kovachov (color design). |
