Description
English: Nam phrik kapi (Thai script: น้ำพริกกะปิ): A dipping sauce made with shrimp paste, dried shrimp, garlic, bird's eye chillies, fish sauce, sugar, pea-sized aubergines (makhuea phuang) and lime juice. Here it is served with raw vegetables (different types of Thai eggplant and makok leaves) and fried vegetables (long, purple eggplant fritters).
