Inauguration solennelle par l'amiral Decoux de la pagode restaurée du VAT PHRAKEO à Vientiane.

28 MARS 1942 : Fête religieuse du Nam Giao présidée par l'Empereur d'Annam à Hué et à laquelle participe l'amiral Decoux. Deux timbres sont émis à cette occasion (Y&T Indochine Nos 227/28). Des enveloppes oblitérées du jour d'émission par un cachet ordinaire ont été réalisées par des négociants locaux.

Les deux timbres oblitérés du bureau de censure "HANOI R.P. Bis / TONKIN; 30/3/42 07 15". Ce cachet administratif servant à indiquer la transmission des plis à la censure n'était pas un cachet de départ et n'aurait pas dû être utilisé ainsi. Au verso cachet postal "HANOI R.P. 30/3/42 07 55".
