Summary
[edit]DescriptionNagoya Castle 2009 24.jpg |
English: In the Honmaru Palace of Nagoya Castle, the Taimenjo room was located in the innermost of the various public rooms. It was a reception room for daily and political affairs and for informal meetings. The panels were painted with seasonal scenes of life of the common people of Kyoto and other places. It is said that knowledge of the lives of the common people raised the basic attainment of retainers with illustrations for enlightenment. |
