Wie man ein Bild, aus einem Werk heraus, vorn auf den Umschlag bringt, den Beschauer dadurch gewissermaßen in den Charakter des Ganzen einzuweihen, so will auch ich hier den Anfang des einen Capitels, aus der Mitte des Bandes heraus, zum Vorwort wählen, den Leser gleich von vorn herein mit dem bekannt zu machen, was ich ihm biete.
