Nederlands: Nadat ongeveer anderhalve week geleden Utrecht voor de eerste keer plat ging dit jaar, was er vandaag sprake van de eerste complete meltdown. Over de oorzaken kan ik lang doorpraten, maar de gevolgen zijn simpeler uit te leggen: ruim acht uur was er geen treinverkeer rond Alphen a/d Rijn. Pas aan het begin van de avondspits werd het treinverkeer weer opnieuw opgestart, maar niet altijd met het geplande materieel.
Trein 8856, de derde IC uit Utrecht sinds 08:30 vanochtend en normaal gesproken een drukke rit, reed vandaag uitzonderlijkerwijs met twee stellen ICM-III. Een bron vertelde mij dat dit één ICM-stel zou zijn ('één klein treintje', die met die hoge kop') dus haastte ik mij naar het station om dit gevalletje onkunde op de foto te krijgen. Het bleken twee stellen te zijn, wat nog steeds uitzonderlijk is tegenwoordig. Stellen 4068 en 4047 komen Alphen binnen, een beeld dat ooit vertrouwd, maar nooit echt geschikt was voor de dienst hier... |
