Description
Deutsch: Oben: Burg Hohenneuffen. Am Hang: Wacholderheide (Naturschutzgebiet “Neuffener Heide”). Unten: Streuobstwiese. Das Naturschutzgebiet Wacholderheide ist offensichtlich durch ausreichende Schafbeweidung vor der Gefahr der Verbuschung der traditionellen Kulturlandschaft geschützt.
Nur am äußersten linken Rand des Fotos, westlich des sichtbaren Teils des Naturschutzgebietes ist ein Stück des Weinbergs zu sehen, dem die Süd-, Südwest- und Westexposition zugutekommt. Die Streuobstbäume dagegen liegen am weniger günstig gelegen Hang gegenüber und in der Mulde des Trockentals „Dürrenbach“, das unregelmäßig aus der Felsnische „Bauer-Loch“ und der gleichnamigen Klinge (Geomorphologie)

English: On top: Hohenneuffen Castle, the slope: Naturschutzgebiet „Neuffener Heide“ a calcareous grassland with junipers. This kind of vegetation has a long tradition; subsidized nomadic pastoralism prevents ecological succession on the Swabian Alb. At the far left of the photo, the corner of a vineyard is visible. The south west position and the soil of Middle Jurassic origin are obviously a favorable location. The bottom of the slope with a small dry valley and the slope behind the viewer are an meadow orchard.
