Summary
[edit]DescriptionNSG-Diessener-Tal Neckar-Tributar-Diessen.jpg |
English: Naturschutzgebiet Dießen south of the village Dießen (south west of Horb am Neckar), Baden-Württemberg. The Dießen is a tributary oft he Neckar. In and after the last glacial period the rivulet Dießen and its tributaries used to be much larger. In this time the valley of the Naturschutzgebiet was extensively eroded into the Muschelkalk (Triassic). Different kinds of Kalktuff (“calctuff”) depositions, quite frequent in the area, developed. There even used to be a few quarries, which are now closed. |
