Summary

DescriptionNSG-"Gmünder Au" 3.jpg	Deutsch: Das Altwasser der Donau umschließt ein 184 Hektar großes flaches Wiesengebiet, das ganzjährig nicht betreten werden darf. Das Altwasser hat nach Osten hin einen direkten Zugang zur Donau. Das Naturschutzgebiet kann auf einem Wanderweg zwischen Leithen und dem Zufluss der Wiesent abgewandert werden. Zudem gibt es auf der Westseite des Gebietes einen Dammweg. Das Naturschutzgebiet ist eines der bedeutendsten in ganz Ostbayern. Es gehört zum Natura 2000 Projekt.
