Description
Deutsch: Das vom Linzer Künstler Otto Saxinger gestaltete Mahnmal zur Erinnerung an die mehr als 400 Salzburger Opfer der nationalsozialistischen Massentötungen (1940-1945) von geistig und körperlich beeinträchtigten Menschen wurde zu Allerheiligen 1991 in der Stadt Salzburg im Kurgarten nahe dem Schloss Mirabell enthüllt. In der Nacht zum 14. Mai 2014 wurde es durch einen gezielten Anschlag brutal zerstört. Am 26. November 2014 konnte das vom Künstler reparierte und durch die Nennung von 325 Opfernamen, sowie Leerstellen für weitere Namen, sinnvoll ergänzte Mahnmal im Rahmen eines öffentlichen Festaktes wieder enthüllt werden.
