Summary
[edit]| Description |
English: This lighthouse is a white wooden tapered square tower built in 1907. It was built on the western side of the Bass River entrance. The light was the eastern most lighthouse on Cobequid Bay, the eastern section of Minas Basin and the Bay of Fundy.
The lighthouse was deactivated in 1991 and was then sold in 1994. A one-story dwelling was built into the base of the tower and is used as a summer home. Tower Height: 9.75 meters (32ft) Focal Plane: 12.5 meters (41ft) above water level |
