| Description |
English: My camera died when I accidentally dropped it into River Esk in Lealholm. Once I was back in York, I went to Jessop's to buy a new camera and to check out if the images on the once-soaked SD memory card were okay. "The images could not be read," I was told by the gentleman at Jessop's.
I was faced with a difficult decision: should I return to the National Railway Museum to re-take the lost images, or should I move on? In the end I decided to re-visit the Railway Museum. I treasured the photos a lot. But as fate would have it, when I revisited the National Railway Museum, I realised that I'd completely missed a whole section of the museum when I was there the first time. This is the Station Hall area housing the Royal Trains collection. Photo taken using a Gorillapod. |
