Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The National Research Council of Canada developed this unique version of a Searchlight Control Radar between 1942 and March 1944. It did not guide a searchlight directly like its British counterparts. Instead, an operator in the cabin could verify the target the radar was tracking through a window (not visible here) and the signals would be sent to a searchlight to aim it. During testing, it was found that the system could track so rapidly that the operators had motion sickness and development was abandoned.
