Description

This year, 2011 the Northwest Territories government, Motor Vehicle branch decided to discontinue issuing sample plates in the likeness of the license plates actually used. Sample plates which now should be simply called souvenir plates were turned over to the Northwest Territories Department of Tourism for manufacture and they have made available to the public four kinds of sample/souvenir license plates with no likeness to the actual plates on the road.

I am not happy with these plates, though fully reflective with nice graphics the legend SPECTACULARNWT is cluttered since there is no space between the"Spectacular" and "NWT" The full name of NORTHWEST TERRITORIES" is already on the plate! Why stick NWT after the legend "SPECTACULAR"

TYPE 4; This souvenir sample plate features two canoers in rapids
