English: These six diesel generators supply power to the Cheyenne Mountain Air Station. During the ORI it was the responsibility of Damage Control Center (DCC) and the Mission Control Center (MCC) to ensure that all systems continued to work and support the Air Station. The scenario was part of the 21st Space Wing's Operational Readiness Inspection conducted at Cheyenne Mountain Air Station and Peterson AFB, Colo., 13 to 17 February 1996. The Inspector General's Team tested their ability to respond to battle conditions, power outages, mobility deployments, aircraft and automobile accidents, hostage situations, bomb threats, armed robbery, terrorism, and communication disruptions. |
