Una galaxia espiral barrada Wolf-Rayet en Adnromeda a 110 millones de años luz, las galaxias WR se caraterizan por las líneas intensas de emisión de estrellas Wolf-Rayet. Las estrellas WR tiene una masa de 20-30 masas solares, son muy calientes y azuladas, emitiendo fuertes vientos solares. La galaxia se encuentra cerca del plano galáctico, en la "zone of avoidance" zona desprovista de muchas galaxias debido al oscurecimiento provocado por el gas y polvo interestelar. 2024-08-14 @ J87 La Cañada. 0.41m F10 RCT + CMOS |
