Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Omega Centauri is the largest and brighter globular cluster in the Milky Way galaxy. Located some 15,800 light years away, NGC 5139 is home to an estimated 10 million stars weighing in at a combined mass of about 4 million suns. The stars are so closely packed together that any planets orbiting these stars would be bathed in constant daylight. Owing to the sheer brightness of this object, I was able to capture it from my home which is located in a light pollution white zone (city centre). Photographed with personal equipment
