Description

This is the pretty central area of NGC 3597. Last night I posted a view of the <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/geckzilla/11813822426/">whole galaxy</a>. Today's image utilizes just the data from the PC chip, so it's much easier to work with and I didn't have to fiddle with anything at all, really. I can put a few notes of interest around this one, too.

North is NOT up. It is 36° counter-clockwise from up.
