English: North Carolina National Guard soldiers of Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 252nd Combined Arms Battalion, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team and the 1452nd Transportation Company, 113th Sustainment Brigade prepare a M1A1 Abrams tank for movement to Pope Army Airfield on Fort Bragg, N.C., June 23, 2013. The unit worked in conjunction with U.S. Air Force loadmaster personnel to successfully secure the equipment on a C17 Globemaster III aircraft. The training was part of Joint Operational Access Exercise 13-03; an exercise to synchronize planning and execution of large-scale logistical movement of equipment and personnel into a hostile area. |
