English: NCN Milepost, Shipley. This is National Cycle Network Milepost no 66, on the towpath of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal by Shipley Bridge. The distances on the left arm are 2.5m Bingley, 16m Skipton, on the right arm Apperley Bridge 4m, Leeds 15m.
The inscription says "The Royal Bank of Scotland. This is one of 1000 mileposts funded by The Royal Bank of Scotland to mark the creation of the National Cycle Network" The building behind it is the Ibis Hotel. |
