| Description |
English: NCI lookout, St. Alban's Head This is a former Coastguard lookout above St. Alban's Head. It is one of many which were closed by the Coastguard when their role became predominantly radio communications and SAR-coordination.
It is now operated in daylight hours by the National Coastwatch Institution, a charity set up to keep a watch over the UK's coasts. See the following websites for more information. NCI - http://www.nci.org.uk St. Albans NCI - http://www.nci.org.uk/stalbanshead |
