Irish River #2 Hardscrabble 1946 There are two covered bridges in St. Martins. They cross the Irish River, the river empties into the Bay of Fundy. This is the Irish River #2, Hardscrabble bridge built in 1946. Length 21.9 meters (72ft) The purpose of the covering is to protect the wooden structural members from the weather. |
