PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks. This is shot in Fundy National Park, close to where Wolfe River empties into the Bay of Fundy. This bridge was built in 1992, replacing the original covered bridge built in 1910. It had been destroyed accidentally when a rock cliff was being blasted to improved the 90º turn at the left end of the bridge. The covered bridge is 29 m (94 ft.) in length. The purpose of the covering is to protect the wooden structural members from the weather. |
