Description
English: 190429-N-ZM469-1133 JOHN C. STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Mississippi (April 29, 2019) Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School (NAVSCIATTS) students participate in a Patrol Craft Officer Riverine (PCOR) training exercise on John C. Stennis Space Center, Mississippi, April 29, 2019. PCO-R, is an eight-week course of instruction designed to provide international students with the knowledge and skills to operate a riverine patrol craft. NAVSCIATTS is a Security Cooperation training command operating under U.S. Special Operations Command in support of Security Force Assistance and Geographic Combatant Commanders’ Theater Security Cooperation priorities. The Naval Special Warfare command has the ability to meet emergent requirements from operational commanders and its training engagement help develop, shape, and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key partner nations. To date, NAVSCIATTS has trained with more than 12,000 students from 121 partner nations. (U.S. Navy photos by Michael Williams/RELEASED)
