NAVFAC Pacific hosted a Building Trust Workshop Aug. 8 at NAVFAC Hawaii's training room in building 40. The workshop was given by current Leadership Development Program (LDP) cadre member Alex Ramos who is currently rotating through NAVFAC Pacific from NAVFAC Far East. The "Creating Adaptive Leaders" Workshops, an effort starting at NAVFAC SW, made its way to Hawaii with the training modeled after Patrick Lencioni's 5 Dysfunctions of a Team concept, and entails building and sustaining trust between individuals, among each work team unit, and within our overall organization. While an LDP cadre member at NAVFAC Southwest, Alex Ramos participated in the development of the Building Trust Training Module, which was highly successful supervisory workshop training utilized at all NAVFAC Southwest sites. He is now an employee of NAVFAC Far East, and continuing the push. Alex was on a rotation at NAVFAC Pacific; and graciously offered this 4-hour workshop on Building Trust during his short time here in Hawaii for our Employee Development Program, Emerging Leader Program, and LDP cadre groups at NAVFAC Hawaii and NAVFAC Pacific.
