Description
English: PEARL HARBOR- HICKAM - Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific Environmental Natural Resource Management Specialist Morgan Richie receives a Certificate of Completion presented by NAVFAC Pacific Commander Rear Adm. Bret Muilenburg June 24. Richie was awarded for completing the Emerging Leader Program, which is an internal mentorship program. The goal of the ELP is to sharpen participants' skills in organizing, preparing and presenting formal briefs; critical thinking and problem solving; management decision making; understanding the missions and requirements of NAVFAC Supported Commands; and improving awareness of varied responsibilities and capabilities of the NAVFAC organization. The 2014 ELP Cadre members include Richie, Capital Improvements Structural Engineer Layne Hazama, Capital Improvements Program Analyst Tracy Flores, and Environmental Natural Resource Management Specialist Robert Uyeyama.
